Well, we got to the UK on Jan 21st with a 6 month EEA family permit and wanted to print everything yesterday for our EEA1 and EEA2.
Luckily we didn't as now its changed and we need different paperwork! It's a LOT!
I am wondering if I as EEA citizen should still apply for the EEA(QP) together with my husbands EEA(FM) form... or would it as good work without? What was the main reason people applied for EEA1 and EEA2 together? If I understand it well I as EEA citizen will not really ever need a residence card, right?
Now, in the new 129 pages big EEA(FM) application (woooow!!) it states:
Situation: Sponsor is currently a qualified person
Period you must provide evidence for: ▪ at least the last 3 months before the date of your application, or
▪ the entire period if they have been a qualified person for less than 3 months
I just started working this week so I only have a letter from my employer as proof... should I wait till the first payslip? or longer?
It also states Section 12 – Sponsor is an EEA national worker
Proof of your sponsor’s income or salary:
Wage slips covering the last 3 months or the relevant period, and/or
Your sponsor’s bank statements showing receipt of wages for the last 3 months or relevant period
So not sure what to do now!! Should we wait with applying?? was this already also in the EEA2 form or did something change?
Thank you!!
