thai passport with u.k residence

My friend is Thai. She got married to a British. She has U.K residence but she still has her thai passport.
She is divorced, but still legaly resident in U.K.

She wants to go to Italy and is not sure if she needs a visa to enter...?

It might be difficult for her if she is traveling in 2 weeks, appointment generaly takes several weeks atleast
