Income and Expenditure Section (UK GENERAL VISITOR VISA)

Post by v4vikramrana » Wed May 13, 2015 4:35 pm

Hi There,

Since I wish to reapply for my sister and her kids, I will like to ensure i understand this section clearly. I will be grateful if you could confirm if i am doing it correctly.

For my sister, I have filled up following information

63. What is your current working status? - EMPLOYED FULL TIME
64. What is your total monthly income after deductions - 32,917 INR (THIS IS CONFIRMED THROUGH HER PAYSLIPS AND BANK STATEMENT)

71. Do you have Savings, Properties or other income, for example stocks? NO (She does not. The FDs shown for her are the ones made by my parents for her)
72. How much do you spend each month on living? 60GBP (I have made this rough number covering herself and the two kids). Does this sound reasonable for India? I think it does as the house is their own (father in law).
73. How much of your total monthly income is given to family members? 40GBP (This is for 2 kids covering school, food, etc)
74. What is the cost to you personally of your trip? 0 (As I am paying)

75. The total amount of money you have for this trip? 10,000GBP (I am saying 10k citing the two FD certificates. Is that okay? Should i just stick to the balance she has in her savings account?) The savings account only has 20k (INR) (200GBP) as she used money. I have just sent her 50k INR. So, her total account now shows 700GBP. So, what should I say ? 700GBP or 10000GBP or 10700GBP?

76. Cost of the flight ticket? 500GBP from ticket price
77. Cost of your accomodation ? 0 (she is staying with me)
78. Cost of your living expense? 500GBP (I estimated 25/day for 20 days. Although, we wont be spending every day). Is 500 too much or reasonable?

79. Someone else paying for your trip? yes
80. What is the total amount in GBP? 5000GBP ( i have this money separate for thier trip)

Please confirm if the entries above make sense.

The documents I am attaching

1. Payslips confirming her monthly salary
2. bank statement showing monthly payments of salary. however, i have also sent her additional 500GBP for trip fund. Would that confuse the officer? Can i explain it in the cover letter that money is gifted to her?
3. my bank statement showing funds of 5k GBP and pay slips for monthly income.

For her kids, I am mentioning cost of living expense in UK - 250GBP. So, the total livng cost for the three becomes 1000GBP. I suppose they will check if her account has 1000GBP. Will they consider the FDs also? And, can i top up her account for 1000GBP. Should not that validate for her to support herself.

Appreciate your help in advance.

Regards
Vikram

This is what I would've put on their application (If you are sponsoring everything);
75. 200GB - But all expenses will be funded by my brother.
76. 0 - All expenses will be funded by my brother.
77. 0 - All expenses will be funded by my brother.
78. 0 - All expenses will be funded by my brother.

The money you paid into her account will be questioned.

You need to make it very very clear that they will not be paying for anything. You need to show proof of their accommodation arrangements i.e. rooms and mortgage agreement/payments or title/deeds.

Also, if you have made any large lump sum deposits within the last six months on your account or on their account, you need to be able to show the trail where it came from etc.

Hi EDWINK,

The online form do not allow me to enter text like you mentioned. I am applying from

www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk

Therefore, in this case should I just put 0 GBP and explain that in cover letter.

For their accomodation, I have provided my utility bill (last month). I could provide council tax etc.

I applied on the same website. It is possible. If not, just put 0 and explain everything in the essay part.

Leave it on 0 then. Write up a statement, you sign and copy paste it on the essay bit as well.
