time frame for reapplying tier 2 visa?

Last year my tier 2 visa got rejected on June 27 as I had unknowingly applied during cooling off period. My cooling off period finishes coming May 27. I have my CoS ready for tier 2 again which mentions start date as June 1st. My query is how soon can I apply for my visa again? Can I apply straight away mentioning my planned date of travel as 31st May which comes after my cooling off period finishes or shall I play safe & apply only after May 27? Is there any time frame which bars me from reapplying for any certain period from date of rejection? Any suggestions will be much appreciated
