ICT Tier 2 extension

I got ICT Tier2 Visa for 4 months. so totally i can stay for 5 months.
Can I extend it to another 4 months or for full 12 months of short term visa.

the visa can be extended up to the max time allowed which is 12 months for T2 ICT short term staff
