Tier-2 New born extension without Visa

Dear All,
I have Tier-2 extension end of this year and we had a new born baby.
Should I still apply for Visa for my baby NOW?? (I have no intension to go out of UK until extension)
OR just apply at the end of year without apply for Visa now??

If you do not intend to travel, you can apply later along with your extension.
