FLR(FP) 10 year route

Post by mobanks » Fri May 22, 2015 3:02 pm

Hi am in the process of completing form FLR(FP), which I assumed is the correct application form for me, however in section 8 it specifies that the 10 year route as a parent is for single parents with access rights.

My wife and I are still together, my wife has ILR and my children are registered as British. Please tell me which application form should I use.

the questions on 8.1 and 8.2 seem to be targeted towards single parents.

I can not apply as a partner because my wife is not working (she looks after baby). and can therefore not post a proof of earnings.

what is best option?

Partner is your only option, as you cannot qualify as parent.

You may qualify under 10 years partner's route.

I applied as a partner last year, but it wasn't granted.

my situation is irregular.

At the time children hadn't been registered as British although my wife had ILR.

Do you feel it would make a difference now, if I submitted another partner route application?

Or do you think I should appeal in light of the link (policy for old human rights cases) you shared earlier?

Well it is complex and dependent on the individual circumstances of a case.

I am not fully equipped to give accurate advise on that .
