Eea 2" residence card" applied with pregnant wife

Post by Casmta » Sun May 24, 2015 2:51 pm

Hello everybody,
I have searched this forum to search anybody with problem like mine but could not, so am posting myself.
I am a pakistani national married to eu national. We got married in feb 2014 and applied for residence card in sep 14 for myself and registration document for herself.. I have send all the proofs of us living together and married. After applying we got to know that my wife is pregnant so we send those docs to home office aswell.
Meanwhile we had to move house and in that one week of moving , home office came to my previous address, which i did not updated at that time to new address.
In march 2015 my wife received a registration document for herself and i got refused because they thought my marriage was one of convenience and i didnt provide dna test for my baby which is yet to be born.
I appealed against it which is due in oct 2015.
My question is this, if this newborn can help me in my case and should i do this dna test and send it to home office before my appeal date.

Any guidance will be much appreciated

RC for Non EEA national applicants goes under high scrutiny , Lots of people been invited for interviews and Home visits by HO before issuing RC.

Normally HO do visit people couple of time at least if they cant meet them at first visit.

Can u share your Immigration background and detail of Home Visit ( Date of Visit) when they couldnt find you guys at home or if they spoken to someone else there?

And when did you find out that they have visited your previous home?

I dont think you would DNA test yet to prove your relationship , If they just believe that your marriage is not genuine.

And what are the grounds of refusal?
