Re: eea2 form - does the signature MUST match the passport ?

Eating 100 onions or 100 shoes looking same. EU national sign not need on form. By the way if you change name after marriage then still you can continue your old signature and I don't think any harm in doing so. If your mind still doubtful then change name and signature on your passport by contacting your consulate.

I think there is misunderstanding here
OP meant in the post that if an applicant(ie non EU family member)and sign declaration at the end of the application form.so if those signs are different than one on applicant's passport..Would there be a negative impact on decision because it could be not same person etc.
In my opinion,no one in the forum can precisely answer this question as it is entirely depends on case worker that how he/she looks on the matter.May be it won't be noticed at all.
Any expert opinion can be contributed...

let me clarify please, all i want to know is :
if the applicant signature is different from the passport signature, is it an issue ? can it be a cause of rejection ?

that's all i want to know please.
Oh. You see , I didn't know you were talking about the applicant.
I will put it this way : Your application won't be rejected just because of that signature.

Post by toto91 » Tue May 26, 2015 11:02 pm

hi

the form for residence permit ask about "home office reference number" on page 16.
when i got a EEA family permit visa for 6 month, i got a "Visa Application Reference Number" starting with GWF from visa4uk.fco.gov.uk

Does it qualify as a "Home office reference number" please ?
Should i write this reference or should i ignore it ? (i don't have any other reference to write on the form)

It depends on the Home Office. We didn't have an interview.

Yes, COA = certificate of application; the 'letter' that you will receive after the Home Office has logged your application. There are 2 types: long (with the right to work) and short (no right to work given). Which one you will receive depends on the details of your case. You will probably get another letter before the COA; this is just an acknowledgment of receipt and it doesn't really mean anything.

Ignore it. The visa application reference number isn't the one that is being requested here. If you don't know it, it means you don't have it... We didn't fill this in.

If there is an interview, then I suggest you bring your own voice recorders.

Absolutely no need to be worried about an interview unless you are not genuine .

I read the whole article. You need not be worried , They tried to threaten me with claims like : My colleagues downstairs can arrest you and detain you and deport your partner .

And I told them that they can sod off , and that they can't do anything when a relationship is genuine , also that I would sue them for fake imprisonment after proving our relationship :)
