re: eu family member counting 5 years for PR

hi guys ,

please help

I am a family member of an eea national (my dad is belgian national), i wanna ask about my PR applcation.
got family permit: january 2011
entered uk : march 2011
got RC : August 2011 (expires august 2016)

actually i wanna ask can i apply for PR in march 2016 (according to eu rules you can apply for PR after 5 countinous years living in uk as family member of eu national ) ( i entered in the uk as an eu faimly member holding EEA FAMILY PERMIT so can i assume my 5 year from march 2011 (entering uk) to march 2016).

please help guys will be much appreciated.

Is your dad exercising treaty rights in any form? Working, self employed, (self sufficient or as as student-with Comprenhensive health insurance)?
If yes to any of the above, then you can apply for PR in March 2016 provided you have also lived here for 5 continuious years with absence of not more than six months in a any 12 month period. You can also be absent for 12 months for reasons of military service, pregnancy and childbirth, serious illness, studies or vocational training. you will need to provide evidence for this.
You dont have to wait till August 2016.

yes my dad has been working as a self employed since 2008.
