Hi member,
I’m a permanent resident of UK. I’m going to bring my wife and one year old child in UK on settlement visas. I just have a question (just wanted to know). That when you live with your family, you can not do savings. So I just wanted to know about the benefits thing. As I never took any benefits from Government (never needed) . That's why I don't know nothing about it.
But after getting my family in to the UK (wife and one child) . If I lose my job ( for example for couple of months) . Will I be able to get same benefits (or any benefit) from Government, which UK Permanent resident families can get in case of unemployment or Not (I’m asking thing question, because my wife and child will be on settlement visas for 5 years) .
Because in case of No-Job/unemployment, I will not be able to bear the expenses of family, when you are renting a flat. And If I send my family back to home-country, until unless I get some new job, then this long absence out of UK can effect their application for ILR after 5 years probation period time.
So I really need to know, if you guys know about it, that
Can I have any access to any benefit, when I will be living with my wife and 1 year old child (along with the job)?
Can I have any access to any benefit, when I will be living with my wife and 1 year old child (in case of unemployment)?
your response and words will be much appreciated guys.
