Employment Letter from Previous Employer FLR M

Hi Exps,

I will be submitting FLR M application for my wife and would be applying under category B.

The income will be reconciled from 3 employers in the past 12 months.

I have currently one job and would be using employer letter from this job along with the other documents i.e. payslip etc.

I did work on sessional contract for a University in the UK from Oct-2014 till April-2015 and have all the payslips and relevant bank statements as well as copy of the sessional contract.

My question is that, am I required to obtain an employment/job verification letter from the University for the period above?

The rules state that the employer who issued the payslips must provide a letter so I would assume that goes for jobs past and present.
