Husbands ILR application...

Post by busybee » Sat Oct 13, 2007 9:16 am

Hi there,

I hope that someone will be kind enough to help...

My husband is currently on a 2-yr spouse's visa and we'll be needing to apply for ILR in Oct'08.

We've just had a baby, so due to lack of childcare I am unable to go back to work. Just wanted to know if me not being in work would affect our application as last time I remember having to send of loads of payslips??

My husband is a student so only works part time, I want to know will it be a prob if I was to seek benefits?? Or another option was to become a registered childminder just in order to have some sort of income.

I would appreciate any advice on this, many thanks..
