Hi, hope someone can help.
I am due to get married in November this year (outside the UK). My tier 2 visa expires (I can submit my application for an extension on 15 September). Last time I applied it took about 4 months! But granted that was when there was a huge backlog in 2012.
Does anyone know what the average turnaround time is from submission to approval for tier 2 extensions.
Also, I will want to sponsor my then wife on a PBS. We will only be getting married after my visa gets approved. I have been in my job now for almost 5 years (2 years on PSW and almost 3 years on tier 2), do I still have to provide 6 months salary as savings or do I just provide my payslips to show stable income?
Last question, I take it I cannot apply for a PBS visa for my fiance this side at the same time that I apply for my tier 2 (in the UK) (she doesn't live in the UK).
Thanks in advance for the help
