Tier2 General dependent work options

Hi Everyone,

I would be moving to UK in a month on a Tier2 General visa.
I would like to know if my husband who will be on tier 2 general dependant can work as a contractor? I read somewhere that few agencies do not prefer tier2 dependents for contracting.

Please guide on the job perspective of tier 2 G dependents.
