Can I apply to new entrant category even if im 26

Hi,

A company is willing to offer me a Cos under "new entrant" salary requirement but I don't know if I fit in that category. I'm 26 years old and currently about to graduate on July from a UK university hence I will be switching from TIER 4 to TIER 2(general). I read the requirements for new entrant salary as follow:

You meet the definition of "new entrant" if you fall within one of the following categories:

you are under 26 years old on the date when you make your Tier 2 immigration application
your Tier 2 sponsor recruited you by carrying out a university milkround (check with your employer if that applies to you)
you meet the requirements of the post-study work exemption from the resident labour market test.

So am I safe and say I can fit on the new entrant salary category?
