Travel Advice on Temp Stamp 4

Post by nahmed » Mon Jun 15, 2015 3:01 pm

Hi guys,

If anyone can advise me on this. My family's EU4Fam case is pending decision at the moment with a decision deadline early September. They have stamp 4 till October and multiple re-entry visas.

Now, we all want to travel in August abroad for 3-4 weeks or so. The decision can obviously be positive or negative and can be made any time before the deadline.

My question is what happens if they get refused, God forbid, whilst we are abroad? Basically, what will be their position to enter back into Ireland in that situation? Although, the stamp 4 is valid till October, can they be stopped from re-entering Ireland by the immigration officer in case of a negative decision?

Please advise.

Thanks in advance

so long as you have a Valid GNIB Card and a Valid Re-Entry Visa , they can not refuse you admission . you should be fine . while you are away just make sure someone keeps an eye out for letters from the Department of Justice .
if god forbid the decision on your case is negative you still will be given a chance to appeal that decision . but why be so pessimistic ?? be positive and optimistic .
