Can dependant work for same employer of the main applicant ?

Hi All,
I am really thankful to everyone of this group, who had helped and helping me from time to time when it's required.
My wife came to UK as my dependent around 2 months back and looking for a new opportunity in UK, but recruitment agencies
are not entertaining her CV telling reason like dependents are not allowed to work or client does not prefer dependent etc. So, it's really difficult to get a chance to talk directly to an employer.

In this situation, I am thinking of approaching my employer (who sponsored my VISA) if they can help her in getting something to start here in UK. Before that, I wanted to clarify from expert - is it possible for dependent to work for the same employer ? Will it make any problem by UKBA or VISA status or license or if any ?

Please guide me on the same.. Thanks for your response in advance.

Hi Ravi,

It should not be a problem. Dependents are not tied to any work restrictions apart from Dentist/Doctor Training and can work for any employer.

Thanks for clarifying it.
I was just wondering if both works for same employer, then UKBA may get into some doubts and may make problem for employer's license. My employer is a small software company having around 40 to 50 employees.
