Switch to Tier 2 problem - Please help

Hello everyone

I am currently a masters student. My tier 4 visa will expire at the end of September.

I will finish my courses and exams on the 10th of july and get my provisional transcript in the beginning of August. I'm expecting to pass all my modules

The board will not meet until October to validate the results. My question is, can I use my transcript from August to make the switch to Tier 2 (showing that I have passed all my modules) or do I HAVE to wait until the board has confirmed the results?
