Tier 2 General was cancelled after sent EEA2 application

Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie here. Thanks for the information on this forum. It helps me a lot.

Here is my situation,
I have been under Tier 2 General Visa for a year and I sent my EEA2 application (extended family member) at beginning of April when I was under Tier 2 General Visa. Unfortunately, my Tier 2 General Visa was terminated at 15th of April (my last working day). I haven't received any curtailment letter from UKVI so far.

My question is:
1. Can I stay in the UK until I get the result of my EEA2 application?
2. Should I notice UKVI my EEA2 application if I get curtailment letter?
