Post by motaboxx24 » Tue Jun 23, 2015 1:04 am

hello guys

my passport going to expire soon so i need to renew it which mean i will have another one , but i hv got EEA RC endorsement on my current passport that not going to expire until 2017 so that mean i need to transfer it to new passport otherwise i will need to carry both passports with me when i travel , but i wonder when i will get new passport instead transfer the RC to it , can i not apply for a permanent residence although 5 years has not elapsed yet ?

I have RC on my old passport and I carry it with my new passport , there is no need to transfer on new one.
You can not apply for PR before completing your 5 years being EEA family member ( time starts from date of marriage i.e 5th anniversary)
