Is a BRP card required for ILR?

I have not received a BRP card nor have I applied for one. I am on a 3 year T2G visa. It this card required for ILR?

You might have been issued a visa outside UK, which would be in the form of Sticker in your passport. Whenever you change or reapply for whatever reasons inside UK, you will be issued a BRP.
I am quite sure about ILR requiring BRP.
