Unrestrcited CoS allocation

Post by logix88 » Fri Jun 26, 2015 11:17 am

Hi,

My employer only just realized that they don't have any allocations requested for this year... Because they haven't even requested for any. It looks me to they should have applied in April 15 this year for the coming year (15/16) allocation.

Their license is still active but the limit, remaining and assigned is '0' for this year. They said they have requested a renewal of annual allocation now. Does that mean they can use it for this year's visa renewal or would that only apply for next year? Any idea how long this takes? My visa doesn't expire for another 4 months but wanted this done early - looks like it's going to be a long wait.

Allocation of unrestricted CoS takes few weeks. Once allocated, they can assign it this year itself.

That's great - I foolishly booked UKBA appointment in the next couple of weeks. I will wait till next week, if not will need to move that to next month or hold on until we actually get it.

They got the CoS allocated in hours... and were able to assign it straight away. Although I have moved my appointment by a month now so, waiting for it anyway. :)

Hi logix88,

I'm glad that this was straight forward for you. My visa is expiring July 14th and my employer is still waiting for allocation from homeoffice. They have been waiting for more than atleast 3 weeks since the request was made. Is is your organization A-Rated Permium sponsor that you got it processed so fast? How did your employer managed to get speedy responnse? any info/help to expedite with homeoffice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Many thanks
