Tier 2 ILR (Flight ticket missing)

Post by nitson » Sun Jun 28, 2015 5:29 pm

Hello one and all,

I am applying for my ILR end of this week (3rd Jul) 15, I am eligible since I have spent 5 years on Tier 2 General, however one thing I am worried about is a missng flight ticket for my first trip outside UK(within these 5 yrs period). I originally booked flight from UK 27th Oct to 17th Nov 10, however I postponed my entry to the UK to 21st Nov. So although I have the original ticket I cant find the extension, however I do have the immigration stamp for 21st Nov...

Is that a big problem? Not sure what to do here?

Also as part of ILR requirement I will be producing salary slips on company letterhead and will also be submitting my bank statment for savings account for a year, however this account is not where my salary gets deposited each month, do I need to get bank statement for my salary account as well?

Many thanks in advance.

shouldn't be a problem, if you are submitting ticket stubs (not essential) explain in a covering letter why the date of the return journey to the UK is different

your savings account is of no interest. You need the payslips and the bank statements for the account where the salary is deposited.
Read 245HF and 245HF-SD of the immigration rules about the requirements and what you need to submit:

Many thanks in advance.

Thats extremely helpful Manci thanks, I will arrange for Bank statement with Salary transactions

IS Covering letter mandatory? If so is there any standard template for it?
I came across 1 or 2 examples but they were all different.

Thanks
