Hello
I came to UK on student visa in January 2000 from West Africa. I applied for an early morning cleaning job in the police station 7 weeks later. Police checked my passport and gave me the job.My lecture of English as a foreign language was in the afternoon. After 6 weeks of work, police arrested me. The alleged that they found something under a bench in custody and it was someone's belongings. After investigation, they arrested me for working more than 20 hours a week. I was served with deportation two weeks later. I lodged an appeal. Two year later, i was given a permission to work with a restriction of domicile and report every month.Few weeks ago, my appeal was heard in court and the Judge decided that the deportation is cancelled with the agreement of the Home office representative. Also it was decided that the Home should regularise my stay. I have then applied for leave to remain under article 8 of human right. Home office rejected it and a second hearing took place just a couple of weeks ago. The determination for the second hearing gave right to the Home office to remove me. Now the judge is offering me an appeal on the grounds upon which it is contended that the Tribunal made an error of law which may have affected its decision. I have my half brother and half sister here in UK. I am in a relationship and live with my partner for almost 5 years. Please advise me what to do. Many thanks
