switching from Tier 5 to Tier 2

Hi,

Now I will switch my Tier 5 visa into Tier 2 (general) but the problem that I didn't pay my council tax for the last 4 months because I was broken and there will be a court this week. Can this effect my immigration status or the visa switching process??
