We will all get it, today, tomorrow, this week, next week, next month or next year. Your worries aint going to expedite nothing...

Congratulations beatallicabeatallica wrote:another done, thanks a lot everyone !
Eligibility criteria: 5 Year + ILR (Tier 1 General)
Language criteria met: Life in the UK Test / Degree
Method of application: NCS
Date of application: 27/03/2015
Payment method: Direct Debit
Date of fee deducted: 15/04/2015
Date of acknowledgment: around 15/04/2015 (don't have in front of me)
Date approval received: 06/07/2015 (dated 30/06/2015)
Date of ceremony: TBD
Biometric requirement was introduced for applications made after the rules/fees/forms changed which was around 6th April I think. Because you applied before that date, you do not need to worry about it.Seena wrote:Dear All,
I have applied for my naturalization in 31st March 2015 and till to-date I have only received an acknowledgement letter and my fee was deducted. I never received a biometric letter. Is that normal ? I also heard that applicants who applied before 6th April they will not receive bio metrics letter...
Please share your experiences....
Thanks

Exactly. It just doesn't make any sense! I mean of course I'm happy for those who got their approvals, don't get me wrong but why do HO ignore applications submitted first 2 weeks? That's just weird...tulip11 wrote:Poor us 1st 2 weeks of March applicants.
It depends whether the HO would do a cross-check whether you worked during the time you were not allowed to work. But as far as I know, you should be allowed to work on dependant's visa.viganooriah wrote:Hello all, quick question:
I am on ILR SETSET LR long residence and willwbe eligible for naturalisation soon. But I've noticed that therecent AN form asks for the employment history of the last 10 years.... Not a major problem, the only thing is that I lost the right to work at some point when i was still on dependant's visa, but actually continued working...because i didn't have much choices but to work .
What should i write down in my employment then? PLease I'd really appreciate if someone, anyone could help.
Thank you
Thanx you for your reply. At the time I was on dependant visa but I did lose the right to work due to my wife's college I lost the right to workjasonyu1983 wrote:It depends whether the HO would do a cross-check whether you worked during the time you were not allowed to work. Yes no doubt we are happy for all those who got their approvals. But like it makes one to think that whats wrong with first 2 weeks applicants ? Why they are putting them aside ?ironmaiden wrote:Exactly. It just doesn't make any sense! Anyway there's nothing we can do but wait
Medohull wrote:guys i have applied on the 23rd of march and still no luck.
spoken to them few times. The answer was I HAVE TO BE PATIENT AND WAIT UNTILL THE SIX MONTHS FINISH TO CALL THEM. they dont care whats going on with our lifes, just taking their times regardless. so ANNOYING.
Perhaps the person dealing with them is on vacations.tulip11 wrote:what could be the possible reason
for delaying 1st 2 weeks of March approvals ?
Hows it possible that they handed all these applications to one person who may be gone on vacations ? At least some approvals ( 1st 2 weeks )should be here in next few weeks .ukswus wrote:Perhaps the person dealing with them is on vacations.tulip11 wrote:what could be the possible reason

I think there was about 8000 applications in March and say even 2000 of them have been sent in the first 2 weeks of March. I dont think that amound would rely on 1 person. I don't know what but there is something weird. It's like they are totally ignoring first 2 weeks. If you check January or February or any other month, you won't see anything like that. It's only for first 2 weeks of March 2015 applications. It's over 4 months now! I know there are some people waiting more than 6 months and I don't want to moan but what HO is doing just senseless...tulip11 wrote:Hows it possible that they handed all these applications to one person who may be gone on vacations ?
