EEA1/EEA2 - Request for furher information from HO

Hi Guys

I posted earlier this month re aplying for EEA1/EEA2 where my student visa was close to expiring. We finally sent our docs in on 3rd Oct; 3 days after expiry of my visa. Since then

- We have received certificate of application for both EEA1/EEA2 applications.
- Today i received another letter asking for:
- My wife's passport (we sent copy initially)
- Inland revenue tax assessments
- Financial statements for the business

My wife has been registered as self employed since 30th July. Double checking with HM C&R they confirmed she is not supposed to submit tax returns untill April 08 which is the start of financial year and there is no compulsion on sole traders to submit any financial statements.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I thought i might get some advice before i ring HO for further clarification.

Any thoughts welcome.

Can't thank enough for the wonderful job you guys are doing. Not everyone can afford lawyers fees and this forums help goes long way for many poeple like myself.
