You should be hopefully hearing in the next few days
As far as I'm aware on Friday there was a few 22nd April application processed emails received by applicants who had submitted at Islamabad
So in shaa Allah shouldn't be long for you now
May Allah swt bring you positive news soon in shaa Allah

I got married in pakistan in feb, ( im from uk) the online visa4uk form ive completed and paid for and ive paid IHS £600. My wife appointment is on 29 july. I'm reading stuff about Sheffield? ?? I'm completely confused now. My wifes tb runs out on 5th August so I want to submit to Sheffield/islamabad before that hence the appointment on 29 july. Can someone please explain this Sheffield stuff. Jazakallah
The change about sending all documents to Sheffield came into affect last week. CRB Check not required.zakikhan wrote:Right so my wifes tb test, nokah, English test crb check (not sure if that is needed) needs to be sent to me here in the uk? They're so lazy over there this is going to be a big deal for them. I thought when the appointment booked at the centre in islamabad everything dealt with there
They r fine don't worry about it! And yes she needs to send them to u asap as soon as they r ready and u can submit paperwork once she has been to her appointmentzakikhan wrote:just when i think im done. Something new pops up. Its really stressing me. My letter of employment ( i have two jobs) are from 23rd June (main job) and 12 June (Second Job). My wifes appointment is 29 July. Should i request new ones for both/for second job?
Also, once she has her Bio metric appointment, does she then send her english test etc or can they be sent here to the Uk before that??
And when would I send these docs to sheffield?
Apologies for so many questions
Yes only submit passport and some people like to take application form not appendix with them just for proof at times but nothing needs to be submitted therezakikhan wrote:right ok thank you very much. So she only submits passport at her Bio metric appointment on 29 July?? the appendix form (about our relationship/accomomodation/ finance and the VISA4UK form which is online and completed dont need to be shown at ISLAMABAD?
Yes asap from when she has had the biometric appointment, and yes I would change it to a bit earlier if possible if not then re do tb testzakikhan wrote:Right so after her appointment, I should immediately send
appendix form
VISA4UK signed form from wife
and all documents related to communication/finance /accom etc to sheffield
Her TB test expires on 5th August. Appointment 29 July. Would it be sensible to change the appointment??

I have been a silent reader for quite some time and this is my first post on here. You guys have been very informative and helpful towards each other, it's genuinely nice to see that amongst brothers and sisters.
I applied online on 2nd April. My wife's biometrics date was 16th April and we received an email confirmation that the case had been received at Islamabad on 20th April.
As of yet I have not heard anything back in regards to my application. Last Wednesday I chased for an update and asked if I could escalate my case, I was told that my case was in progress. I chased again on Friday as my 12 weeks are up but was then told that 'case decision has been been delayed pending further enquiries and checks'. Does anyone know what this means and what the next step is?
I was really hopeful of receiving my wife's visa before Eid. We have been married almost 3 years now, case was rejected twice before. Once in June 2014 and once in January 2015. Both times I used solicitors and both times I was misinformed.
You guys have been such a great deal of help to me and In Sha Allah you all get your visa's soon and be reunited with your loved ones.
Never lose hope.
Salam.
yes u can change it just go to appointment and there should be an option to reschedule it, if dates r available then u will only be able to change it, yes your understanding is correct, inshallah best of luckzakikhan wrote:right, i think im going to change the appointment date on Visa4UK...i should be able to right?? Hope there isn't some sort of timeframe after which you cant change your bio-metric appointment. Il bring it forward hopefully, she will send docs from pakistan within next 3-4 days. Once she has done her appointment, i'll send everything i have and what she has sent me...to Sheffield....
am i talking sense??
That's very unfortunate. What were the reasons for each refusal and are you using the same solicitor each time?adilr78 wrote:Salaam Guys,

this is so sad to read as i was in a similar situation (being wrongly informed) as u, i know how hard it can be having patience all the time; have been married myself for 2 years 4 months, but inshallah both of our waits r over soon and we are reunited with our spouses.
what this means is that they are most likely awaiting information from hmrc etc or need some more details hence why they are delayed inshallah don't lose hope u never know tomorrow is a new day and she could be called tomorrow to collect passport and be here for eid inshallah will do dua for u.
It is a stressful time as you have to run around getting all the documents together and then make sure that the documents are not older than 28 days, and in the progress we tend to rush and make some silly mistake. HO seems to be always changing something to make our lives more difficult and by the time me get to know how everything works they change something.zakikhan wrote:Right so after her appointment, I should immediately send

Being delayed is not an issue so long as they visa comes through. Hopefully you will get a positive decision soon. If it will be delayed then they should email you otherwise expect decision soon. Email responses from them just seem to be aimed at keeping you shut for a while, but you could try to phone them up and will get a better idea.adilr78 wrote:Salaam Guys,

Get a new one, don't take any chances as they can find the silliest of reasons for refusing you. Much better than going to appeals or making new applications.zakikhan wrote:my housing inspection report was done on 17 june 2015...my wifes appointment is 29 july...even if i change that...its still about a month old...this 28 day rule...what docs does it apply to??
