Cos for Extension from existing employer and A New employer

Post by app_val » Tue Jul 14, 2015 11:14 am

Hi Manci,

I have the following situation and need your expert advice:

1. Company A which Iam working may give me a Cos (I hope after attending an interview for a new post ..still nothing has been heard from them and Iam expecting by this month end)

2. Company B where I got a job offer is ready to give me an Cos by this month End.

My situation is if I get the Cos from Company B by this month end, and imagine if I get a job offer from my existing employer (which is more preferred because job/salary is higher than the one from Company B), will that be possible for the Company A (existing) to go ahead and assign a Cos before I intimate Company B.? will there be any trouble ?

If so, should I need to ask the Company B to cancel their Cos before Company A need to assign the Cos. Both are unrestricted Cos, as I already been employed here.

I very well understand that the value of Cos, but also I need to see two things (1) the time frame, as my visa expires by October end 2015 and (2) Salary and position in long term as the UKVI imposed a restriction of 35000 when you apply for naturalisation (Company A (present one) but will be know by next month ), because by that I should have crossed that limit (2) Iam not quite sure that Company B will pay that much higher salary but provide me a 3 year Cos (which is the only advantage)....

Thanks in advance

You cannot have two active CoS assigned. If you need to change, you need to ask B to cancel the CoS assigned to you. Only then should A assign the CoS to you.
