ICT Tier 2 Short term to Long Term VISA

Hi,
I am currently on my ICT Short Term VISA which gets expired soon in a month.
Can some one help me on below queries.

1. Is there a possibility to get the same ICT Tier 2 short term VISA extended with the same employer?
2. Can i change the employer and work in UK ? (I mean can i find a job with other employer and get COS from them to get ICT Tier 2 Long Term VISA with out travelling back to my home country / wait till cooling period of 12 months )
3. Are there any other possible ways to get any kind of VISA to get employed in UK ?

1. You can extend if the original ST visa was less than 12 months. You can extend to reach the 12 month cap. You cannot extend beyond 12 months. If you go back and want to apply again for the same visa, you will be subject to 12 month cool-off.

2. Unfortunately, No. You will have to find out if someone is ready to sponsor you a Tier 2 General visa. If you are able to, you will have to apply from your home country and will be subject to 12 month cool-off.

Just to add, if your current employer agrees, you can go back and apply for ICT Long term visa with your current employer without any cool-off.

1. Yes, you can search for a job while you are here. You will have to search for an employer who can sponsor you for a Tier 2 General visa. However, its not that simple. Read response for (2).

2. Unfortunately, No. You will have to go back to your home country to apply. Plus, you will be subject to a cool-off period of 12 months after you leave UK before you can apply for a T2 general visa. The cool-off period will not be applicable only if your ICT ST visa was issued for less than 3 months. What is the duration of your ICT visa?
