BABY BORN IN UK AND TRAVEL TO INDIA

Hi All,
My wife is on Tier2 General Visa since 2010 and eligible for PR in 2months Time.we have a kid who is born in UK in 2013. we would like to travel to India in Nov 2015.My kid has Indian passport but not applied for visa or traveled outside UK.
My question is what kind of visa should we apply for her? As we are intending to travel to India asap my wife gets PR status.
Is there a short term visa available for her to travel back to UK?

1. Your wife cannot get PR, but may apply for ILR if she qualifies.
2. Child of a settled person.
3. No.

Alternatively, defer travel plans and apply for child's registration as British citizen, British passport and then OCI/tourist visa.
