just ask him for a letter to say that he has no problem for ur MRs to live in . usually there is no issue anyway even if it is a double room
So if the landlord agrees, I can mention her name on the agreement. I would rather prefer to mention as it will ensure she has got clear and secure space with me. However, I am not sure if I can send document back home and get it signed back?

I duly certify that I have let this dwelling property on an assured tenancy under Part 1 of the Housing Act 1988 to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxidentified with passport No xxxxxxxxxx from the UK. The tenancy agreement is for a 12 month fixed term subject to a monthly rent of £590.00 (please refer to tenancy agreement).
