ICT tier 2 long term - Query -Dependent on Leave of Absence

Post by ashutosh.d » Wed Jul 29, 2015 3:54 pm

Hi All,

I have got my CoS sponsored by my employer for me and my dependents. My wife is currently employed in India and has been obtained Leave of absence (LOA) / Leave without pay (LWP) from her current company.

I am due to apply for our tier 2 long term visas soon. Will I be required to submit a leave approval letter from her current company?

If this is the case, will her visa specifically mention that she will not be allowed to work in the UK?

The current plan is for her to come to the UK and apply for a suitable job - If that comes through, she plans to resign from her current Indian employer.

An early revert would be highly appreciated.

Thanks much in advance
Ashutosh

She can do as you mentioned. There is not requirement to submit any leave letter from her employer.

Thank you. But will the visa say whether she is eligible to work in uk or not since she is already employed in india

The visa will not state anything of that sort.
