EEA family permit to join my EU husband in the UK.

Hi there,

I have a really tricky situation and would really apprecciate any help/advice!
I am a Russian spouse of EEA national, holding a EU (Slovakian) residency card for 5 years.
We both want to settle in the UK(i have been studying in England for 4 years), my husband is leaving to London next week for a job interview. My application for 6 months EEA permit was made prior to his trip, so on the application I've stated that we are both outside UK at the moment, but I am willing to join my spouse in England in order to seek a job in the UK, which he is able to do as a holder of UK passport. Is there any chance that I can still get the permit, or will I have to reapply after my husband will already enter and settle in the UK?

Also, will I be able to work with this permit during this 6 month period?
