UK national with eea2 residence card

Hello everyone,

i am UK national and living in republic of Ireland with my family. my non eea national wife and adopted son has EEA2 residence card issued by Irish govt coz i was excising treaty rights in Ireland.

my question is that '' i got good job offer in London and i am moving to UK. does my wife and child need spouse/dependent visa to come to UK or EEA2 will be valid to stay in UK permanently?

if they need visa then what kind of documents i need to show UK home office to get visa for both?

There is no EEA 2 in Ireland , it is EU1 for Residence Card.

i am living there for 1 and half year i have job here nice flat.

i am British national so will home office allow us to remain in EU law. coz once i enter in UK i will be treat as British national and British law will be implemented automatically. my wife and son are NON EU national.

You may be able to rely on EU law, If within the meaning of UK law, you have transferred your center of life to Ireland. You may well be able to meet that test.

Alternatively, you could apply under UK law, provided you are able to show that you earn 18600 in Ireland, and will be earning that level within 3 months of your return, or you have sufficient resources. If your daughter is not British, that figure will hit 22,400.

my wife and son already have EU1 for 5 years.now i am planing to move UK permanently so do they need to apply EEA2 RC for living in UK permanently? OR they can move here ON EU1 and later after 5 year they can apply for EEA4 ?
