Received mail from Visa team to submit the Original Deg Cer

Post by pkrishna » Tue Jul 28, 2015 3:54 am

Hi ,

I got a mail from the Visa team to submit the Original degree certificate to finish the processing in 7 days. But it will take atleast 20 days to get my original certificate from university.

I submitted my original provisional and marks sheet to the Visa

I sent a mail to the PBS team whether I can submit my semister wise marks sheet for further verification . All other documents are cleared except this certificate.

So,will they refuse my application ?? if at all I am not able to send the certificate.

Thanks
Pkrishna

Hi -

1. Have you submitted degree for English language requirement?

2. Which university degree did you submit from?

You applied Tier 2 General or ICT?

If you're claiming points for your degree taught in English - you must submit original degree or transcripts.

You talk to Osmania University certificate department, Hyderabad and expedite the process of getting original degree and get a letter on University letter head that you have applied for Original certificate and it will take XX days to process with University official signature.

You must send this letter to UKVI team and inform them that you will submit original degree by the date mentioned in the letter.

If you do so, I don't think your visa will be rejected. But make sure to send the original degree ASAP.

Question - you have IELTS score taken in less than 2 years time?

Hi Shah,

Thanks for the reply

I sent my Bachelors Degree Original certificate and Consolidated Bachelor Mark sheet to the UK Visa team.

Can you please tell me whether they will consider this certificate.

My Bachelors Degree is the Original Convocation Certificate

Hi ,

I sent the two original certificates of my Bachelor degree.

1. Convocation
2. Consolidate Marks Sheet.

Still I need to send the covering letter, because according to PBS either Bachelors or PG certificate is fine.

Please tell me.

Thanks
Krishna

The question is why do you not have the "degree certificate" with you? Have you graduated recently and are yet to be awarded a degree?

Hi ,

Due to some issues in University I am not able to collect my certificate. I applied for the convocation week back and it will take minimum of 20 to 25 days.

So, I have sent my Bachelors degree certificate to the Visa team for the verification.

Will they consider my Original Bachelors Degree certificate ( English Medium )?

Thanks
Krishna

Hi Krishna - I think the certificates you sent are okay but I cannot say if those are accepted or not as it is completely depends on how UKVI considers your application. Don't worry too much and let's hope everything will be okay.

Hello mate,

Did you read the requirements on gov.uk and the policy guidelines before applying?
Unless you got an UK NARIC endorsement for your foreign degree and they certify that it was taught in English you might have issues.

Check out -> https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/knowledge-of-english

It states,

3. Knowledge of English
You may need to prove your knowledge of the English language when you apply.

You can prove your knowledge of English by either:

- passing an approved English language test with at least CEFR level B1 in reading, writing, speaking and listening
- having an academic qualification that was taught in English and is recognised by UK NARIC as being equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree
You may be able to meet the English language requirement in other ways or need a higher level of English in some circumstances. Check the full visa guidance for detailed information.
