My wife got approval today .she applied on 7th march. Home office mentioned in the letter that an ceremony invitation letter will follow shortly and told not to phone local council now.i'm confused now. Should I wait for another letter from home office or call council straightaway

Do as you are told to do in the letter !

You need to wait for an invitation letter. When mine was approved the letter said another letter would follow. If it was not happening within 2 weeks then you needed to call HO. So you need to wait.
Some people get the invitation letter straight away, some people like me not

@scottrobertl trust me this is so frustrating to be honest I thought my application would be extremely straightforward due to me meeting all requirements stated that are needed and + the fact I was born here and have lived here my whole life sad to say im 24 years of age and have never left England in my entire life loool people are amazed when I say this to them but this is the predicament we are in and its very unusual the way they deal with people who live and have worked here , its beyond me , I was definitely thinking the same thing as you I havent seen anybody applying with T forms either and to get info is very hard the way its set up is so bad I mean you part with near to 1 thousand and they dont even contact you regularly or even monthly it very frustrating we have no power all we can do is wait and wait and wait




Hi mate. We are in the same boat. You actually have exactly the same circumstances as me, it was actually quite creepy reading through your post as I was thinking to my self, " when did I write that, I don't remember writing that" .
There aren't a lot of T applications made, and it's been really hard getting information.
I would've contiued to remain a silent reader had I not come across your post.

Applied on march the 31st,
Rang the council to book the ceremony but they say that they have not recieved my documents yet so ill have to ring them back again,
