Speeding Offences and Fixed Penalties to be declared

Post by ashleyransoo » Mon Aug 03, 2015 1:36 pm

Hi there,

Does anyone know if Speeding offences and Fixed Penalties needs to be declared on the Online Tier 2 General application form?

On the Paper form, they do not have to as per the guidance. But I noticed on the Online form they are there as options to select from.

Many thanks for any help.

Best wishes,
Ashley.

Also,
2) I have noticed that Extending Tier 2 General no longer requires documentation to be provided to prove maintenance of funds. Is that correct that you automatically qualify since you have submitted evidence with a previous application?

Many thanks.

Best wishes,
Ashley.

Hi Sushdmehta,

I have been reading through the guidance and searching a lot, the only one I could find an obvious answer for is for (2) maintenance of funds.

There is nowhere explicitly mentioned that speeding offences and PCNs should be declared. However, I have read that these are not classed as criminal convictions but only fixed charges.

Not sure why they have been included on the online form but not on the paper form. I'll be very grateful if yourself or anyone has any information to share about this.

Best wishes,
Ashley.
