do they post the full 5yr residence card?

do they post out the full residence card in ireland or is it another trip to the immigration office? the reason i ask is my wife on the temp stamp 4 card and we are applying for the eu family permit if we get it we plan to leave straght away and maybe get the mail redirected, is that a good idea?

they dont post the card robster, you would have to go to burgh quay with the letter just like u did for the temp one.

if u r leaving and redirecting ur mail to the uk, then u should get the letter. its up to u if u want to come back to ireland or let it go

thats fine, thanks for letting us know, we prob just apply for eea family permit then wait until sep 26th for full irish card as its a good back up incase getting the residence card in the uk is hard to get, is it ok to apply for uk residence card after 1 month of having the family permit do you know

You can apply once u r in the UK. My husband go multiple entry eea permit for 6 months.
We are visiting for the summer and coming by to Dublin then move back in oct. it would be exactly a yr since i moved to Ireland. I just want to make sure we have the best chance especially with the stupid centre of life test.
One yr am pretty sure should be enough to satisfy that for us.
