I have fully frustration b-coz I apply my BC in 18 th march 2015 and yesterday I received a call from my case worker but unfortunately I miss the call and he left a message that he want couple of question.reguarding my application today hole day I Waite but I didn't received any call from HO. I m upset why he's calling me after that I check my application form
I apply my Nationality but I just write my fater year birth but I didn't write day and month.pls share if any body have same happen.

I did not even write year of birth and got my approval. May be he has some other question. Don,t you worry he will again.

Got my citizenship letter today along with a council letter to attend the ceremony in few days. I applied on 24th of March and the letter was dated 30th of July. Good luck everyone who is still waiting.

Have been a silent reader on this forum for a while now, so thought it was time for me to share my story - know a lot of people must be on the same boat.

Eligibility Criteria: 5 years Work Permit + 1.5 year ILR
Application Sent: 20 March 2015
Received by HO: 23 March 2015
Acknowledgement Letter: 14 April 2015 (dated 8 April)

The nerves have started kicking in recently as HO have not contacted me since the acknowledgement, so am beginning to wonder whether is anything wrong with my application. My referees have not been contacted either. Don't have a criminal record and neither have I overstayed my visit here at any point. One thing though, I resigned from my job 6 months after I received my ILR to start my own venture. This has been in the planning stage over the past 1 year and should launch in the next 2 months. In the meantime I also haven't taken any unemployment benefits, so have no idea why my application is taking so long. Do they also carry out a credit check, my credit file has not been checked this year at all.

Any advice would be helpful.

I wouldn't worry too much. As you say you've done nothing wrong. Your employment status doesn't affect the outcome either. Most likely case is that your file is left in one corner about to be looked at by someone. Or maybe your case worker is on holiday or just has too many things to do.

In my case they didnt contact any referee. But what I heard from most people , may be its wrong but mostly they dont contact referees in naturalisation applications but they must contact passport application referee.

I am very happy for the March approvals that I have seen flying through & especially for Tulip who I think has been an excellent member of this forum, good motivator! I actually felt a bit sad that Tulip might end up leaving this forum & we'll miss jokes, however I'm glad to see he is still active giving us the moral support!
