HELP - 'Academic Progression'

Post by aivlyst » Tue Aug 11, 2015 2:31 pm

I have previously successfully completed 1 year of undergraduate law in the UK at a private university. However, I decided to withdraw due to personal reasons.
I am now in my home country undergoing a 1 + 2 UK Law transfer programme instead and the uni of my choice has already issued a CAS to me without asking me to fill up a previous immigration history form even though I disclosed it in my UCAS application.
My main concern is, is my case considered as academic progression??

If your CAS does not confirm academic progression, then your sponsor has made a mistake and you need to ask them to add it. Whether your specific scenario is, or is not, academic progression is mostly an academic question, so you need to check that with the sponsor.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
