Need help on my Queries

Post by denise_sweet » Wed Aug 12, 2015 3:51 am

Hi,
Newbie here. Im denise.

I got my UK VIsa Migrant Tier 2 (dependent).

I need to arrive in UK before September this year and collect BRP.

My question is this, is it alright to come to UK before the expiry of my entry (and exit after 2 weeks maybe) and come back to my current work (here in asia), and be back in UK maybe January 2016 after resigning in my current work?

Appreciate your help guys..TIA

Will it be grounds to cancel my current status as TIer 2 Dependent?

Btw, I will travel together with the Main Tier2.

Kindly help immigration expert to reply in my queries.

Should be okay, if you can collect your BRP before you depart the UK.

Thank you Vinny for the response...

Will it affect in future incase we would like to extend our visa or applying for ILR?

It will only affect your ILR if you remain out of the UK to impact your residency period.
Remember you need to be in the UK for 5 years (only 180 days per year allowed outside) to be qualified for ILR.

Other than that no one cares what you do or where you stay once you have your dependent BRP as long as your sponsor (hubby / partner) is still employed under the terms of his original visa.
