REALLY NEED SOME HELP RE MY WIFE TRAVELING TO UK PLEASE !!!

Post by worlddance » Wed Aug 12, 2015 10:17 am

HI everyone.
I am writing this as we are completely new to your site and not sure how to post and get answers.
Here is some background for you to understand our situation.

I am male 46 born in the London, England. And have a British passport.
My wife is 40 South African, holder of a South African passport.

We met 3 years ago in Cape Town have been in love ever since,
We flew to Europe ( LARNACA, CYPRUS) And got married in November 2014.

We both live in Cyprus and my wife holds a permanent residence paper for Cyprus which is an EU member state valid 5 years as a spouse of an EU member.

My wife is 5 months pregnant with our baby girl who when born will have British passport

my question is this.
As my wife has permanent residence given to her from Cyprus because she is my wife
Under EU rules (freedom of movement) can my wife then travel with me back to the UK with our daughter
And gain entry under EU law as she is travelling with me, holds permanent residence papers in another EU country which she has lived for over a year now.

Any help would be really really grateful to hear from memers to help us

Joey & Tanya

Hi Vinni.
I should have mentioned in my post that i am not working...

Am am in receipt of Disability living allowance so cannot try the the route you mentioned to me.
A this is for people who have worked for 3 months ... i also know that this route was quickly amended under UK law .

If you have adequate maintenance (E-ECP.3.3) and accommodation, etc., then she may apply to join you in the UK.
