The requirements for a T2 sponsor licence are set out in the T2 sponsor guidance and the documents you would need to submit are listed in Appendix A to the guidance.

Your company can apply for a sponsor licence if it satisfies the requirements

Covering Letter for Sponsor License

Post by therock » Thu Aug 13, 2015 11:06 pm

Hi Guys

Does anyone have a covering letter that I can use as I am applying for a sponsor license (CoS). As this is required as per the Appendix A in the policy guidance titled "You must provide the following information as well as the information from the following tables or your application will be rejected" I have written the following covering letter, Please help improve it :)
Sponsor Casework Operations
Sponsor Applications Team
Home Office
PO Box 3468
Sheffield, S3 8WA

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR SPONSOR LICENSE

Dear Sir/Madam,

We would like to apply for a sponsor licence (CoS) so we can sponsor foreign workers. Please find enclosed all the required documents with this letter. In the Appendix A it is required to provide additional information for Tier 2 (General) applications. So please find the additional information below:

We are a web design and online marketing company; our operating hours are between 9am – 5pm. Our company currently has two employees below is the hierarchy:
• Mr ABC - Director
o Miss XYZ – Office Administrator

We have recently posted a vacancy on our website for the following role (please find enclosed the proof)

Job Title: Accounts Manager (SOC Code: 3538)
Duties: Managing a portfolio of accounts, Using contacts to generate new business, Engaging in project management duties, Delivering presentations, Attending meetings with clients.
Salary: £25,000 per annum (excluding commission and bonuses)
Skills Required: Must hold a master’s degree in relevant field. Drive and enthusiasm to meet deadlines and targets, excellent administration skills, outstanding communication skills both oral and written, Recruitment experience is vital.

After careful considerations of applicants who have applied for the above role we have decided to select a candidate who currently holds a Post Study Work visa. For this reason we want to apply for the sponsor license (CoS).

For the above reasons, I would really appreciate if our company can be granted the sponsor license (CoS).

Regards
Mr ABC
I would really appreciate if someone can help.

Many Thanks

i think u should read the guidance again...
have u applied for the licence online already?
to start with, do not want to sound rude, but a blunt answer warrants to say, since u do not know the difference between cos and sponsor licence, so i can only wish u good luck as u will need a lot of it.

Hi iworker. Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I have applied online and I have printed the document that I need to send with supporting documents.

Are there anything wrong?

Thanks

sponsor licence and cos are 2 different things.. u have depicted them as the same by writing them in parenthesis.
I would strongly suggest that you prepare yourself for a office visit by UKVI considering u have 2 employees. have u thought why do u think u cant find a accounts manager within EU? you are a markeeting company and u are seeking someone who has experience in recruitment? why do u need accounts manager and why not accounts assistant.
