Dependent Visa-Family

Hi,
I am an Indian and have recently got the approval for workpermit for france. Nevertheless , there was some goof up on the dependent visa for family and their application was not submitted to authorities. It took some 3 months to get the WP approval.Now I need to travel with family.

What are the different options do I have for obtaining the dependent visa now?

1. Long stay visitor visa- how much processing time?
2. WP amendment- Is it possible and if so, processing time?
3. Any other option?
