Waiting for OSCE date to switch to Tier 1

Post by Nadu123 » Mon Aug 17, 2015 11:24 pm

hello everyone,

I hope somebody have an answer for this. I am a foreign nurse trained out side EU. I have applied for the nursing registration here in June 2015. I spoke to NMC today and they said I have missed one form. So I sort out everything today but it will take another two weeks to get it upload in my NMC account. I already have a sponser but they cannot issue a sponser letter because the date for the start up my sponsership should be the date of my OSCE exam date. NMC says it will take 40 days to assess my documents. Problem is my visa expires in september second week. Can anyone please advise as to what to do next. Thank you

What is your current immigration status? Have you made a mistake in the title of your post and meant switching to Tier 2?

I am not familiar with the registration process for nurses but you can overstay for up to 28 days after the expiry of your visa without any immigration consequences. However, if you are currently working you are not allowed to continue after your visa expired.
