We didn't realize it was going to be this difficult to get the professional reference.

The only other option I can think of is to just use a person whose profession is not in the list and apply...then hope for the best.
Any people among the parents at school that you could use? Also, remember that you don't have to be in regular contact with the person right now (a lot of people do assume this); rather, the person has to have known you for three years but the time of regular contact could have been in the past (as with a work colleague or neighbour who has since moved away, for example).

What questions are Referees for Naturalisation asked?

I have tried accessing Chapter 18 Annex G of the naturalisation case working guidance, but it seems the Annex G has been deleted. Previously it used to provide details on referees and situations in which the home office might contact them.

Does any one know what questions the referees are asked when assessing one naturalisation's application?
