Receipts for Fines Imposed! Naturalisation

Hi,

Today I have received a letter from INIS requesting I forward copies of receipts of fines imposed. The fines are from 2012, and I paid at the time however I am unable to find the paperwork.

Does anyone have any tips or guidance on how I can get a copy of these recipes - is there a government department who would have retained this proof? This is for my naturalisation application.

If they're court imposed fines, then go the the court clerk to get a letter stating and clearing you of paying the fines or in the alternative, go to your Garda station to get clearance letter stating all fines paid. It's pertinent you also write a cover letter stating you misplaced/lost the original copies of the receipts for the payment of the fines. Best of luck!
