T2 General Dependent to T2 General

Hello Gurus,

I have few queries which i am trying to get answered. I am currently on Tier 2 ICT Long term visa expiring in Oct-2015. My Wife (who was on Tier 2 ICT Dependent) has got a job offer/Tier 2 General visa from a UK employer & she will be travelling back to Uk soon. Now, queries as below:

1. I understand that i cannot switch in country to be her dependent from my current Tier 2 Long term ICT main applicant & have to travel to my home country to get this done ? Is this correct ?

2. Will my stay as her T2 General dependent in UK count towards completion of cooling period ? I.e. can i apply for Tier 2 General visa in Nov-2016 (completion of 12 months of cooling period) if i get a sponsor ?

3. Can my wife switch from T2 General main applicant to T2 General dependent in country once i have got my T2 General in Nov-2016 ?
